Wade Singletary Obituary

On Wednesday July 2, 2025, this world lost an amazing man, as the good Lord called home Wade "Little Wade" Singletary, at the young age of 38. Wade was an amazing man that anyone who came in contact with him couldn't help but love him. He had the biggest heart, and would do anything for anyone no matter the time of day. He was a sheer sunshine here on Earth, the most respectful human, loving, kind, never met a stranger, hard working man you will ever meet. Wade was a dedicated Lineman at Cleco for 17 years where he would always get out there and work no matter his title or position, he never stood around and let others do the work that he wasn't willing to do himself. He was a family man through and through and made friends wherever he went. He was a great son, grandson, the best older brother, and friend, but oh how he loved his wife Lindsey. His devotion and love for her and their three kids was more than anyone could ever hope for. His presence here will leave a hole in the hearts on this community and his family and friends greater than anyone would have imagined.

He leaves behind to carry on his legacy the love of his life and high school sweetheart Lindsey Parker Singletary, his precious children whom looked up to and admired him; Grayson Eugene Singletary, Emmalyn Marie Singletary, and Maelyn Olivia Singletary, his dad Wade "Big Wade" Singletary (Marita), brothers Cody Singletary (Shay) and Chase Miller (Mel), his grandparents Gary Singletary and Gene and Rose Glover, his step dad James Miller, his in laws John and Dana Parker, and his brother and sister in laws; Jeremy Parker (Lori), Adrienne Gill (Lee), and Justin Parker (Sophie), along with a host of nieces and nephews. He is now reunited in Heaven with his mother Lisa Miller and his grandmother Linda Singletary.


Visitation for Little Wade will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 10 am to 2 pm with the funeral starting at 2 pm from the chapel of Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River, LA 70452. Interment to follow at Charter Oak Cemetery, Pearl River, LA.
