A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 19,2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Wade was a car salesman and loved to help customers find the perfect vehicle, but his greatest time was spent fishing, watching UNC basketball, and listening to Jimmy Buffett with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Karen S. Westmoreland of the home; daughter, Kara Lea Westmoreland of NY; mother, Sue Westmoreland of Swansboro; siblings, Charlie Westmoreland (Darlene) of Jacksonville and Cynda Westmoreland of Swansboro; sister-in-law, Shawnna Munna (Jerome) of Holden Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Westmoreland and a brother, Michael Ray Westmoreland.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Swansboro Fire and Rescue Department or to the Bear Creek Fire and Rescue Department.
