Walter Beal Obituary

Walter C. Beal, of Blackwell, MO and formerly of Cuba, MO was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1949, in St. Louis, MO to Bethel Beal and Vivian A. Beal, nee Copling. He passed away at his home in Blackwell, MO on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 26 days.
Walter worked as a logger and for Kuhn's Sanitation Services for many years. Walter loved the outdoors spending time fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed deer hunting and working on projects with his brother-in-law, Mike.
He is preceded in death by his father Bethel Beal; mother Vivian (William) Protte; fiancé Darlene Chew; brother Edward D. Beal; and brother-in-law Garry McCormick.
Walter is survived by his sons, Kevin Beal of Sullivan, MO, Mike Beal of Columbia, MO, and JR Beal of Bolivar, MO; mother-in-law Marcella Sansoucie of Blackwell, MO; sisters Kathy McCormick of Bourbon, MO and Karen Eoff of Steelville, MO; brother-in-law Mike Chew (wife, Susan) of Plato, MO; grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba, MO. Memorial Service immediately followed at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Haggett officiating. The family chose cremation as his final disposition.
