Wanda E. Beavers, 93 of the Magnolia community southeast of Holden passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Holden Manor Care Center.
Wanda was born June 1, 1931 in Lone Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Roy F. and Myrtle N. (Webb) Kirkland. She was raised in Lone Rock. On October 24, 1948, Wanda was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Beavers in Cotter, Arkansas. The couple made their home in Bakersfield, Missouri for a couple of years prior to moving to the Magnolia community in 1954.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Magnolia for several years. Wanda was an avid reader and she enjoyed doing word search puzzles. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons: Lonnie Beavers (Sharon) of Overland Park, KS; Glenn Beavers (DeeAn) of Clinton, MO and Larry Beavers (Tammy) of Holden, MO; daughter-in-law: Maxine Beavers of Leeton, MO; eight grandchildren: Kimberly Beavers, Aaron Beavers, Travis Beavers, Cody Beavers, Ryan Beavers, Jayme Rick, Skyler Beavers and Riley Beavers; two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son: David; brother: Gerald and two sisters: Helen and Violet.
There will be a private graveside service at Pisgah Cemetery, north of Chilhowee.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
Memorials Contributions are suggested to the Pisgah Cemetery Assoc. in care of Williams.
