Wanda Chancellor Obituary

Wanda Faye (Myers) Chancellor, age 91, passed away peacefully in her son's home in Horntown, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, surrounded by many loving family members. She was born December 17, 1933, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James and Lula Faye (Roberts) Myers.
She worked at Holdenville Hospital for over 30 years. She loved her work and helping in her community. She just might be filing insurance claims in heaven right now. She also assisted Triple D Auction Company with auctions. She loved being around people and enjoyed buying and selling antiques.
Some of her favorite interests were spending time at the lake, gardening (she loved her flowers), attending auctions, antiquing and family gatherings. Her family was the joy of her life and she loved spending time with all of them.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children, Harry Turner and husband, Tommy Chancellor; daughters, Donna Turner and Lana Kay Turner Gaines; step-daughter, Anita Chancellor Pointer; sister, Carolyn Sue Slater; great great granddaughter, Abby Foster.
Wanda is survived by one daughter, Lynn Foster and husband Donald of Newalla, OK, one son, James (Jim) Turner and wife Hollie of Holdenville, OK, one nephew she raised as a son, Bruce Turner and his wife Kathy; one stepdaughter, Anita Annette Epperley; one stepson, Danny Chancellor; grandchildren, Michael Foster and wife Karen, Robby Elliott and wife Crystal, Donnie Foster and wife Holly, Angela Foster; Ross Turner, Stephanie Hale and husband Drew, Crystal Bullington and husband Nicholas, Heather Morris; great grandchildren, Kaity Rambo and husband Rusty, Carter Elliott, Cooper Elliott, Shaylan Elliott, Ryder Elliott, Stratton Foster, Dak Hale, Cheyenne Fixico, Daygen Stone, Zander Morris, Kaden Morris and Emerson Morris; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 27, 2025 at Texas Banner Church of God in Horntown, Oklahoma with John Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Foster, Robby Elliott, Cody Slater, Ross Turner, Rusty Rambo and Don Merriman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Spaulding Vintage Tractor Club.
Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.
