Wanda Bell Davis, age 68, of Gray, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her cherished family. Born on July 20th, 1956, in Macon, Georgia, Wanda lived a life marked by grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia, with Rev. Eddie Windham officiating. Family and friends are invited to visitation at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Wanda will be laid to rest at Ramah Cemetery following the service.
Wanda was a woman of depth and quiet strength, a nurturing soul who found great joy in simple, beautiful things: the warmth of her Hiawassee cabin, the sweet aroma of something fresh from the oven, and the gentle care of her beloved plants. She was intelligent and faith-filled, with a heart as generous as it was loyal. She taught by example, instilling in her children and grandchildren the values of responsibility, independence, and honesty.
Above all, Wanda was devoted, first and always, to her family. For fifty blessed years, she stood side by side with her husband and best friend, Mike Davis, building a life rich in love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. Her greatest joy came not from accolades or attention, but from simply being present with those she loved.
Wanda leaves behind her loving husband, Mike Davis; her children, Eryn Deason, Christopher (Christie) Davis, and Misti (Tyler) Andrews; and her grandchildren, Keaton Sanders, Lucas Andrews, Zane Deason, Skylar Andrews, Callaway Deason, Logan Davis, and Hayden Andrews. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael (Lisa) Bell and Jeff Bell; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Bell, whose values and love helped shape the incredible woman Wanda became.
In honor of Wanda's memory and her resilient spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163, 800-708-7644, give.michaeljfox.org.
Gray Memorial Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the care of the Davis family. Condolences and fond memories may be shared at graymemorialchapel.com.
