Wanda June Lollar, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went to be with Jesus on July 15, 2025 at the age of 84.
Wanda was born in West Los Angeles, CA on March 31, 1941 to Roy and Armintha Waldroop. She married Richard Morton Lollar in November 23, 1961 celebrating 63 years of marriage. Wanda jumped into motherhood by marrying a man with 2 children. They soon fostered a boy who became their 3rd son with a 4th son born shortly thereafter. She was the heart of the home and a great conversationalist, unafraid to dig deeper. She went from being a mother and homemaker to receiving her teaching certificate and started a business with Richard in Downers Grove, IL until they retired. After retiring they moved back to CA to be near family.
Wanda's husband Richard went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2025. She is survived by her children Michael and Kathleen, Randall, Scott and Gayle, David and Sheila, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren whom she loved and prayed fervently for. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A joint funeral service for her and her husband is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on August 2, 2025 at the First Congregational Church at 5 Real Road, Bakersfield, CA 93309.
