Wanda Janell “Nell” Coffman, 89, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Jamey Mathis will officiate. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Nell was born on January 28, 1935 in Elwood, Texas, to Joe Knox and Annie Richard (McCleary) Gibbs. She was joined in marriage to Jacky Ray Coffman on October 23, 1954 in Red River County, Texas. Nell dedicated her time to her family and home, spending her life as a homemaker, providing warmth and love to her family.
Nell was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Annie Gibbs; her devoted husband, Jacky Coffman; and her brother Joe Gibbs, Jr.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jackie Nell Blake and husband George, of Paradise, Jacky Ray Coffman Jr and wife Geni Coffman, Jim Gibbs and wife Shaneece Coffman of Decatur; Her sister, Katherine Vanderpool; Her grandchildren, Jessie Longenbaugh and husband Timmy, Sammie Elliot and husband Derrick, Maccie Park and Husband Russell, Mo Coffman, Tra Coffman, Lauren Snow and husband Jeremy, Tara Coffman, Paige Turlington and husband Tanner, Jordan Dunn and husband Gary, and Tyler Coffman; along with numerous great-grandchildren, as well as a host of friends.
