The son of Harold and Emma (Steel) Cramer, Wayne was born July 1st, 1931. He showed his true patriot spirit when he enlisted in the army, where he served his country by providing support, supplies and equipment as an Airborne Quarter Master while on tour in Europe and Korea.
At home, Wayne married Frances M. Hayes on July 13th, 1956, in Lansing, MI. He was adored by his children and known to be a great father. A proud veteran, Wayne traded his uniform for a set of wheels; he showed the same dedication for his country as he traversed the highways as an over-the-road trucker, still providing support and supplies for those he dedicated his time and service to.
Wayne will be greatly missed by Daughter Angela Copper, grandchildren Owen Cramer, Jeremy Cramer, Dylan Williams and trusted friend Doug Sousa.
He is preceded in death by parents Harold and Emma, wife Frances, infant daughter Yvonne, son Clifford, brother Joe Cramer and sister Betty.
Cremation has taken place, and online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com .
