Wayne Allen Lucey, 64, passed away on June 9, 2025. Wayne is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Denise, and her daughter, Kathryn, who shared many cherished years together. He leaves behind his beloved children: son Shane and his wife Clodaugh, daughter Mary and her husband Josh, and daughter Wendi and her husband Marcus.
Wayne was a proud grandfather to Arthur, Alice, Lance, Lilliana, and Saoirse, who brought endless joy to his life. He is also survived by his siblings: brothers Denny and his wife Chong Hui; Jim and his wife Cari; Kyle and his Darcy; and sister Julie and her husband John. Wayne's strong family bonds, warm heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, extended relatives, and friends, who will continue to honor his memory with love and gratitude.
Graveside service was held at the Tobacco Valley Cemetery on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Eureka. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.

Wayne was a wonderful person and great coworker to work with. Throughout the years of working with Wayne, I found him to be a compassionate giver. He was one of the most dedicated nurses, at UWNW. I am having a difficult time imagining what work will be like, without Wayne. He was there nearly every day I worked. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a wonderful guy! Praying for strength for you and the family!
