Wayne Smalley Obituary

Wayne was born on May 4, 1936 in Burket, Indiana to Donald and Minnie (Sands) Smalley. He married on June 16, 1956 in Mentone, Indiana to Shirley A. Igo, she survives.
He worked for the Kosciusko County Highway Department for many years. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge of Rochester, the Beaver Dam/ Loon Lake Conservation Club, Warsaw Elks Lodge, and the Beaver Dam Community Church.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Smalley of Sebring, Florida; son Chris and wife Tessa Smalley of Beaver Dam Lake; son-in-law Doug Miller of Mentone; grandchildren Adrienne Smalley, Shane Smalley, and Justin Miller; step grandson Mitch McCarty; 3 Great Grandchildren; and a sister Linda and husband Mitch Tucker of Claypool.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lori Miller, and brother Gerald Smalley.
A private memorial celebration will take place at a later date. Wayne's remembrance place will be in the Nichols Cemetery, Akron, Indiana.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Beaver Dam Community Church.
