JoAnn Imdieke-Uhlenkamp Obituary

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Jan. 10 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with the Rev. Kevin Soenneker officiating. She will be buried next to her son, Michael, at St. Paul's cemetery privately at a later date.
Per Joni's request, no visitation will be held prior to the Mass. A Celebration of Life will follow the Mass at the American Legion in Sauk Centre.
JoAnn Beste was born Oct. 7, 1955, in Sauk Centre to Clarence and Kathryn (Deters) Beste. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1974. Joni was blessed with two sons, Matthew and Michael. Her passions in life were golfing and sitting on the dock listening to her transistor radio doing word find puzzles and feeding her sunfish.
She loved being outside. If she was on the golf course, you usually heard her before you saw her. "Woooo!" was usually heard on a good shot. Joni was blessed with many great friends and was also blessed with a great family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Uhlenkamp of Sauk Centre; mother, Kathryn Olmscheid of Sauk Centre; children, Matt Imdieke (Mindy Dawson) of Sauk Centre, Nicole (Jason) Naasz of Bemidji, and Alicia Becker (Cody) of Little Sauk; grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Avery, Vincent, Eva, Clayton, Logan, and Cameron; brothers and sister, Jim (Linda) Beste of Sauk Centre, Jason (Cathy) Beste of Sauk Centre, Janet (John) Pastian of Hudson, Wisconsin, and John Beste of Melrose; and many loving relatives and friends.
Joni was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Beste; step-father, Leo Olmscheid; son, Michael Imdieke on March 18, 2000; and sister, Jean Thang.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Holy Family School because that's where goodness starts.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
