Wesley Dallos Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Uht Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Nov. 10, 2025.
Wesley Paul Dallos, known affectionately as Wes, was a beacon of quiet strength and unwavering love in the lives of those who knew him. Born on September 11, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, Wes's journey through life was marked by an enduring sense of loyalty and commitment to his family, his country, and his passions. On November 9, 2025, Wes passed away peacefully in Wayne, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of gentle kindness and cherished memories.
The son of the late Robert and Doris Dallos, Wes grew up in a home filled with warmth and camaraderie, values he carried with him throughout his life. His bond with his parents was a testament to the family's close-knit nature, a trait that Wes would embody in his own marriage. In the early hours of January 26, 2002, Wes and Rachel Dallos, his beloved wife of 23 years, exchanged vows in a spontaneous Las Vegas ceremony at 4 am, after Wes charmingly convinced her boss to give her a day off. Their love story began with that fateful date, sparked by a chance meeting at the restaurant where she worked, and blossomed into a partnership filled with mutual respect and joy.
Wes is survived by his wife, Rachel, who will forever cherish the years they spent side by side. He also leaves behind his brother, Bobby (Terry), and sisters, Lisa (Joe) and Lori, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss his gentle presence and the quiet support he readily offered.
Before his retirement, Wes dedicated 28 years of his life to Detroit Electro Coatings, where he was respected for his hard work and reliability. His work ethic was only matched by his commitment to his country, as he proudly served in the United States Air Force. Wes's colleagues and fellow veterans will remember him as a man of honor and integrity.
Wes's love for fishing was well-known; it was his thing, his escape, and his way of connecting with the world around him. He found solace in the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch, a hobby that provided him with countless hours of reflection and contentment.
Although Wes was a man of few words, his actions spoke volumes about the kind of person he was-kind, considerate, and always there when you needed him. His quiet demeanor was a comforting presence to his family and friends, who knew that beneath the calm exterior was a heart full of love.
Wesley Paul Dallos's memory will be held in the hearts of those he touched with his unassuming charm and unwavering kindness. He was a man who knew the value of a quiet moment, the strength in a gentle word, and the importance of just being there. Wes will be dearly missed, but the legacy of his gentle spirit will continue to inspire and guide us all.
