Seneca – Wilda Lucille McCurry Rogers, 70, loving wife of the late William Hugh Rogers, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born on October 13, 1954, in Olney, Maryland, Wilda was the daughter of the late Elbert and Gladys Elderidge McCurry. Wilda was a homemaker and a member of Seneca Church of God of Prophecy.
Wilda is survived by her sons, Carey Joe Tollison, Chris Tollison, William Rogers, Brandon Rogers; daughters, Mary Beth Ferreira, Barbara Rogers; siblings, Wanda Blalock, Ressie McCurry, Billy McCurry, Edward McCurry, Michael McCurry; and 1 granddaughter, Tatem Tollison.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wilda is preceded in death by her son, Austin Rogers; siblings, Lola Mae McCurry and Donald McCurry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wilda's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Autistic Ward), Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
