Jodi L. Trevean, aged 55, a lifelong resident of Keansburg, lost her battle to cancer surrounded by her family on October 17, 2025, at Laurel Bay Nursing Home in Keansburg. She was born on November 15, 1969, to the late Donovan and Barbara Trevean. Jodi's life was characterized by her vibrant spirit, her unyielding love for her family, and her passion for the simple joys in life.
A devoted mother, Jodi's legacy continues through her daughters Heather Carroll, Jessica Trevean, and Serena Napolitano. She was predeceased by her sister, Jill Trevean and her nephew James Trevean, whose memories she cherished deeply. Her best friend and companion, John Doyle. Jodi's love extended to her siblings, who stood by her through thick and thin: her brothers Lance Trevean and James (Michelle) Trevean; her sisters Jenny (Sal) Cascio, Jeanne (Kevin) Rooney, and Julie Trevean, who is partnered with Jerry Benino. Her life was further enriched by the laughter and wonder of her seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life, along with her beloved furbaby, Pup.
Jodi dedicated many years to Bayside Manor in Keansburg, where she took pride in her work in housekeeping. Her colleagues knew her as a hardworking and reliable individual, whose presence brought warmth and kindness to every room she entered. Her involvement in her work community was marked by genuine connections and a reputation for always lending a helping hand.
Her interests were as unique and spirited as she was. Jodi was an avid music enthusiast, with a particular love for Judas Priest, whose concerts she attended with unbridled enthusiasm. Halloween was her favorite time of year, and she delighted in decorating with an array of spiders, creating a spooky ambiance that enthralled her family and friends. Above all, Jodi's heart belonged to her family. Every moment spent with them was treasured, and she made it known that they meant everything to her.
Jodi's presence was a gift to all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit was indomitable, and her capacity to love was boundless. She navigated life's challenges with grace and emerged with a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. Jodi's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories shared by those who loved her and the impact she made on the world around her.
As we say goodbye to Jodi L. Trevean, we celebrate the life she lived and the countless ways she touched our hearts. She was a beacon of joy and love, and though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come.
