William Lee Castleberry, affectionately known as "Billy," entered into rest on June 25, 2025, in Castle Rock, Colorado. Born in January 7,1976, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was the beloved son of Rosey Goodbar and Gary Castleberry. Billy was 49, years of age.
Billy is survived by his wife, Coreen Troxel of Colorado Springs; his daughter, Briana (Dacotah) Smith of Colorado Springs; his son, Triston Castleberry of Colorado Springs; and his cherished grandchildren, Emory Rose Smith and Kayden Smith, also of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by his sisters, Dolores Sisneros of Colorado Springs and Brenda McDaniel (Rob) of Trenton, Ohio, and his brother, Kenneth Castleberry of Mesquite, Texas. Additionally, Billy leaves behind his niece, Veronica Peters (Zachary) of Hamilton, Ohio; his nephew, Tyler McDaniel (Sarah) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and their children, Liliah Jo Roettker and Parker McDaniel; as well as numerous friends and cousins.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Rosey and John Goodbar; Gary Castleberry; and his faithful dog, Tips.
Billy had a profound love for the outdoors. He found immense joy in the mountains, whether fishing, camping, or riding bikes. He had a passion for music and movies and was known to everyone as a great Joker, always bringing happiness to those around him. Billy never met a stranger and was a wonderful storyteller. He took great delight in teaching and showing his grandson new things. Billy loved his friends deeply and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
