William "Bill" Henry Charles Bolton, 95, of Marstons Mills, Cape Cod died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born May 21, 1930, formerly of Arlington and Woburn, MA relocated to Cape Cod and created the "Mansion on Lakeside" his home that he was so proud of with his wife Sandra "Sandy" Bolton, author, screenwriter. Bill and Sandy were friends for over sixty years and married for the last twenty- two of his life.
Bill the esteemed gentleman completed his circle of life at the McCarthy House in Sandwich, MA surrounded with love.
Bill the beloved adopted grandfather to Tanya Lee Mogardo and great grandchildren Hannah Lee, Madison Rose and Landon Rudeus. A guiding light and inspirational adopted father to Wayne Gary Nordstrom and his wife Kirsten Lee of Mashpee, MA.
Bill is predeceased in death by his parents Earl, a lifelong Shriner and his wife Laura Elva Bolton, a Missionary, his sister Helen and previous wife Suzanne.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife Sandra, beloved brother Kerney Winter Bolton and his wife Linda of Albuquerque, New Mexico, niece Wendy and her son Dustin of Maine, nephew Eric and his wife of Albuquerque. His son Charles Bolton and his wife Lynne of New York and grandchildren Will, Caroline and Julianne. His daughter Wendy Renna of Tewksbury, MA and grandchildren Douglas and Suzanne. His daughter Kim LaMontagne of Florida and granddaughter Ashlyn of New Hampshire. His nephew Karl Myers and his wife Julie, Steve Myers and his wife Mary Kay and their children of Washington.
Bill's school years were at Arlington High and Huntington Prep, Boston, MA. His teen summer years he attended Tabor Academy, Marion, MA.
Bill a master craftsman built a 23 foot boat at the age of nineteen with his brother, Kerney, fifteen at the time. An unheard of accomplishment for such brilliant minds and skill.
Bill proudly joined the US Navy and served on the USS Bowers during the Korean War. He received a Meritorious Mast with Naval ceremony by the Commanding Officer for outstanding service. He attended Montgomery Academy in Virginia during his military career.
After his military service Bill became proprietor of the family bowling business raising it to be the prestigious mega-family entertainment center The Turnpike Bowladrome in Cambridge, MA. Bill served as President of the Massachusetts Bowling Association for many years raising its' level of professionalism to its highest standard. Bill was known as "the encyclopedia of bowling."
Bill is a Master Mason with over sixty years of dedication raised to the sublime degree. A life-long Shriner and member of Scottish Rite.
Bill, a man of principle, value and morals. A kind gentle soul that loved life. He was an inspiration and one-of-a-kind amazing. Everybody loves Bill. Never to be forgotten and loved forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday July 24, 2025 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Chapman Funeral & Cremations, John-Lawrence Chapel, 3778 Falmouth Road,
Marstons Mills, MA. Burial will follow with military honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in Bill's memory to the
Shriners Hospitals for Children.
