William Oliver Hottinger, 72, passed away on, July 13th, 2025, in Indianapolis, In. He was born on December 24th, 1952, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Anthony & Wavenelle Hottinger.
He graduated from Glava High School, in Galva Ill. He went on to attend Black Hawk College (East Campus) and Western Illinois University. Wiliam spent most of his life working in manufacturing.
William married Pamela Sue Boyer, on November 13th, 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Pam, of Franklin, In.; one stepson, Jeffrey (Linda) Boyer, of Nineveh, In.; three grandchildren: Bryce (Dana) Boyer, of Franklin, In. Brendan (Rachel) Boyer, Columbus, In., and Piper (Kyler) Boyer, of Franklin, In., and four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Jane Hottinger and Deb Hottinger.
William is proceeded in death by his parents, three brothers: Tom Hottinger, Daniel Hottinger, and Mike Hottinger; two sisters: Linda Cash and Judy Stuart.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, drinking beer, and watching sports on tv, whether it was the Cubs, the Bears, the Colts, or the Pacers.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated with no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, in William's honor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home & Simple Cremation, Whiteland Chapel, located at 729 N. U.S. Hwy. 31 Whiteland, In. 46184

I am so hear to hear of Bill passing. I was a classmate of Bill at Galva High School class of 1971. He will be miss by all of his friends and classmates here in Galva .
