William Glenn Humbert, 82, loving father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Friday March 21, 2025, after a long fought battle. He was preceded in death by wife Sarah Kay Humbert, father and mother John and Flora Humbert, brother Wayne Humbert, and sister Lois Allison. He is survived by daughters Teresa (Darrell) Bolinger of Friendsville, Amy Humbert of Maryville, son Steven Humbert of Springdale, Arkansas, grandchildren Thomas and William Bolinger of Friendsville, Kyra Humbert, Boise, Idaho, Joshua Humbert, Millstadt, Illinois and Christopher and Matthew Humbert, Arkansas, great granddaughter, Oakley Humbert, Millstadt, Illinois, and sisters Linda Plemons, Lenoir City, and Caroline Mealer, Lenoir City.
We would like to thank the staff at The Waters of Maryville and Gentiva Hospice for the kind and loving care they have given Glenn.

Glen was my best friend in Asmara Ertria during the 60s. We had caught up with each other in the last few years but I did not know he had passed. My condolences to his children and grandchildren. Edward Levi Word

It was my honor to care for Glenn at the end of his time on earth. He was a fantastic human, with a wonderful sense of humor, and a very keen mind. It didn't hurt that he laughed at my jokes. I miss him already.
