William "Bill" Kimbrough, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Susan; his children, Robert, Sean, and Kelly; son-in-law Matthew Pope; and his beloved grandchildren, Madeline, Hannah, and William. He is also survived by his sister, Kay (Ronnie) Buff; his brother, Garth Kimbrough; his brother-in-law, George (Charlene) Thomas; and his nieces and nephews, all very dear to him.
Born on August 21, 1959, in Memphis Tennessee, Bill built a long and respected career in the automotive industry. He served as General Manager at Hendrick Subaru in Hoover, Alabama, and previously as a manager with Darrell Waltrip Honda in Franklin, Tennessee. Bill was proud to have been part of the Hendrick Automotive Group family for 27 years, where he was known for his leadership, integrity, and dedication to both his team and his customers.
Outside of work, Bill loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Whether he was out on the golf course, skiing on the lake, or simply enjoying good company and conversation, he made every moment count and was special to so many people in all walks of life. He will be remembered for his honesty, warmth, humor, and the steady kindness he shared with everyone who knew him.
Visitation for Bill will be held on Monday, November 3rd, at First Presbyterian Church on Spring St. in Murfreesboro, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the service from 2 to 2:30 at the church. The burial service will follow at Miller Cemetery in Christiana, TN. All who knew and loved Bill are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bill's name to Micheal J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
