William E. Labry, age 87, of Ashtabula, died peacefully at his home on July 18, 2025.
He was born on September 27, 1937 in Ashtabula, OH, the son of Gabriel Labry and
Dora (Landolfi) Labry. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by brothers
Gabriel Labry, Jr., Carl Labry, Tom Labry and sisters Mary Gabriel, Stephanie DeTore,
Gloria Labry, Caroline Hassett, Bernice Labry and son William Labry, Jr.
His wife, Lucille Labry also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Thomas) Cusman of Ohio, son Michael (wife
Andrea) Labry of FL, Grandsons Anthony (wife Elizabeth) Labry of CA, Dominic
Cusman of OH and great-granddaughters Gianna and Camilla Labry of CA.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
William graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1956. He played football, basketball,
baseball and ran track and field. His love was baseball. He entered the Army after high
school and was stationed at Fort Knox, KY. He played on the Army traveling baseball
team.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm at Guerriero Funeral Home, 1550 W. 19 th Street, Ashtabula, OH
Funeral mass is 9:30 am at Mt. Carmel Church. Services at St. Joseph's cemetery after
mass.
Memorials may be made to Bella Care Hospice, VFW post 943 and St. John's High
