Funeral services for William "Wayne" Ronquille will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2025 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Rev. Ken Hofler and Pastor Nathan Thornton will officiate. Ashby Tedder will be speaking. Interment will follow at Calhoun City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
Wayne was born on August 8, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away in Columbia, Louisiana on July 4, 2025. He was a retired foreman at Asplundh Tree Service, who loved to buy and sell on his free time. Wayne loved to fish, attend a good auction and most of all he loved his family, people and conversations about his President, Donald Trump. He was preceded in death by his son, David Ronquille; parents, Marcelle and Lutina Anthony Ronquille; brother, Marcelle Ronquille, Jr.; and son-in-law, Joe Lindsey.
Wayne is survived by his wife of more than 55 years, Betty Purdy Ronquille; sons, William Ronquille and wife Tammy, Brandon Ronquille and wife Nicole, Greg Ronquille; daughter, Lisa Lindsey and husband Kevin; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Ronquille; and many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Ronquille, Ashby Tedder, Peyton Ronquille, Brenyan Ronquille, Isaiah Ronquille, and Gabriel Lewis. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeremiah Ronquille.
