Billy was a Dryden Combine High School graduate, and after graduation moved to Indiana were he was a former employee at Dorel of Columbus with 33 years of service.
Survivors include 3 children: Corey Wayne Spears, Krystal Spears, and Joseph "Joey" Edward Spears; mother, Phyllis Spears; brother, Jason Spears (Deanna); 2 sisters: Angela Kay Taylor and Kellie Jo Gullett (Ray); several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Wayne Spears.
Graveside memorial will be held in Spears Family Cemetery, Big Hill, Pennington Gap, VA, at a later date.
