William Matthew Treadway, age 70, of Kettering passed away on October 20, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1954 to parents, George and Ruth Treadway. Will is preceded in death by his father, George Treadway; brother, Randy Treadway and special dogs, Wilbur Wright, Lilly Grace and Molly Ann.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Judy; mother, Ruth Treadway; children, Nathan (Megan) Gillett, Jennifer (Cody) Smeltzer; grandchildren, Braydon Bentley, Foster Gillett, Charlotte Smeltzer, Autumn Gillett; siblings, Vickie (Charlie) Barnhill, Beverly Waker, Tammie Landess-Robinson, Ellie Powell and in-laws, Everett and Sylvia Flick; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Will attended Centerville High School and graduated Class of 1972. After high school, he continued his education, graduating from The Ohio State University, Class of 1976. He was a true Buckeye through and through. Will was an avid golfer, a lover of music and a collector of WWII airplane models. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren as well as taking Judy on in-depth tours of Columbus. William will always be remembered for his sense of humor and kindness. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and friends.

A gathering with family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
