I flew home to Wyalusing from Florida on July 10th, the day Bill died. I did not know...finding out only today about his passing. My old archery buddy of 50 years is gone. As one person said, his gift for gab was a treasure. Bill and I went to a zillion archery tournaments back in the 70´s and 80´s, and his gab was so much of his personality, I affectionately nick-named him "Mo Mo." Back then, everyone started calling him Mo Mo. I had last called Bill this past March 30th and we had a 35 minute conversation. He told me he was not going to make it. He thanked me several times for calling him. Then I knew he was serious. I am glad I recorded the conversation now. I don´t ever want to forget that voice. Mo Mo told me one thing about archery once that I took up and the reason for the successes I had. I am sorry I can´t attend his service coming up. I probably could tell a story or two.....RIP old buddy. Picture 1980 Watkins Glen Mid-Atlantic Field Archery Championship.
