Shirley Ann Wilson, age 69, of Mount Airy, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. Shirley was born in Forsyth County, to the late Henry Wilson and Ethel Eileen Westmoreland Wilson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Calvin Wilson Jr.(Treva); grandchildren, Scott Becker (Miranda), Jonathan Gentry, Christian Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Heavenly Wilson; step-grandchildren, Austin, Alexis and Brandon Hazelwood; five great-grandchildren; brother, Russell Queen; special friend, Jack McConky. In addition to her parents Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wilson Sr.; daughter, Theresa Wilson; brother, Dillard Queen. There will be no formal service at the funeral home at this time.
