Wilma Lee Wooten, age 68, passed away peacefully at her residence in Dayton, Tennessee on July 2, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1956, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Elmer and Willie Mae Perkins. She was of the Baptist faith.
Wilma was a fun-loving, outgoing woman with a vivacious personality. She loved telling jokes and singing karaoke and was always a people person.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louie Wooten, Jr.; her sisters, Vickie Reams and Teresa Slack; her grandson, Chandler Wooten; and her great-grandson, Logan Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Smith; her children, Misty (Lee) Smith, Greg Stone, and Justin Wooten, all of Dayton, Tennessee, and Stephanie Marie Roberts of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; her sister, Linda (Jim) Rice of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time.
