Yetta Patricia Price, 92, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Mulberry Street Methodist Church, with the Reverends Jack Varnell and Payton Stone officiating. The family will greet friends in the Parlor following the service.
Daughter of the late Diogenes Samacovlis and Katherine Panahari Samacovlis, Yetta was born on August 9, 1933, in South Bend, Indiana. She was a longtime and faithful member of Mulberry Street Methodist Church, where she formed many lasting friendships and lived out her strong commitment to faith and service.
Yetta was an active volunteer with Macon Outreach for many years, generously giving her time and compassion to serve others in the community. She was also an avid competitive bridge player and greatly enjoyed the challenge of the game.
Yetta will be lovingly remembered by her son, Charles R. Price, Jr. of Macon; daughter, Victoria Darling of Titusville, Florida; grandchildren, Kyra Clark (Harry) of Safety Harbor, Florida, and Devin Satabe (Stephanie) of Lynwood, Washington; and four great grandchildren.
Chuck and Victoria would like to acknowledge Joseph Goldenburg and Scott Hackney. They are family to us and to our dear mother, Yetta.
