educated at Meridian High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.
Yolanda was a wonderful cook and made many meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her many relatives and friends. She leaves her
husband of 24 years, Michael Gaston to cherish her memories. Yolanda was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Wendell Allen Hadley and Johnnie William AlRoscoe Hadley, her sisters, Debra Ann Hadley and Sharon Barber, and a brother Eugene Hadley.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Ryleasha Coleman, James Hadley, Willie (Margaret) Dodds, and Yolanda Dodds. In addition, she leaves one sister, Dr. Mari Hadley, and three brothers, Willie B. Hadley Jr., Johnnie (Janelle) Hadley and Otto Hadley. Yolanda will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Amber Mosley, Lakya Anderson-Ruble, Amrysha and Ambrijha Coleman, Tremell Dodds, DaMia Hartzog, Amora Alma Jean and Wynter Rae'Lynn Dodds, and great grandchildren, Trevor and Adrien Hamad. Yolanda will be sadly missed by her special nieces, Cymmi, Ruthoni, Corki, and Coretta Cornelius and her special friend, Gloria Arostico. Her special nieces and nephews Johnzon, Bobby B, and nieces, Sha'Dymon (Shadybaby) and Morgan Louise will miss her dearly. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will sadly miss her.
Visitation for Yolanda J. Gaston will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00 P.M.-3:00P.M. at Massie Funeral Home in Mounds, IL. At the request of the family cremation rights will be accorded following the visitation.
