James Stevens Obituary

James Johnston Stevens. Jr. of Hilliard, Florida, passed away July 6, 2025.
He was born March 5, 1960 in Frankfurt, Germany to James J. Stevens, Sr. and Ingeburg J. Stevens, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Ramey Stevens, who was his partner in every sense; his son, James J Stevens III and stepchildren, Ashley (Daniel) Gainey Sofge and Kaitlyn (James) Sirvent; his grandchildren, James C. Stevens, Jodi Stevens, Makayla Crews, and Addilyn Sirvent, who inherited his sense of wonder and curiosity; his nephews, Chuck (Carmen) Warner and Michael Bates; and his siblings, Mary Bates, Chris (Gary) Gideon, and Pat (Tom) Thompson. His friends, who were family, will miss his infectious laugh and generous heart.
James served our country in the U.S. Air Force and was a proud veteran. He embodied the spirit of adventure and joy. His zest for life was contagious, inspiring those around him to live fully and love deeply. He will be missed dearly.
A celebration of James' life will be held at a later date.
