Bryan Eugene Hensley, 63, of Dandridge, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, at home on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Bryan grew up in the Northport community in Newport, and is still loved by many in the area.
Bryan was proceeded in death by his parents, Leslie S. and Zora Hensley; mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Kathleen Coffey; brother, Leslie Buck Hensley; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Gene Rice; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Gary Hughes; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, June and Lewis Wiley.
Bryan is survived by his wife Betty, of the home; children, Brandi Oliver, Crystal Hensley, Matthew Black, Kimberly Caughron, Micky Jackson and Shawn Jackson; brothers, David Hensley, of Newport, Michael Hensley, of Bybee, Gary (Joyce) Hensley of Galax, VA; sister, Kim Jones, of Newport; brother-in-law Mike (Clarissa) Coffey, sister-in-law, Karen (Mike) Miller, brother-in-law David (Cynthia) Coffey, sister-in-law, Lisa Sprouse, and brother-in-law, Shawn (Linda) McWilliams; many grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cocke County flood victims in Bryan's memory.
A celebration of life will be held at Northport Baptist Church in Newport at a later date to be determined.
