HOMER - Gerhardt Mohr of Homer died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024.
Memorial services for the Army veteran will be at 11 a.m. May 24 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 390 County Road 2400 E. Broadlands, with Pastor John Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Broadlands. Homer Funeral and Cremation Services, 708 S. Main St., Homer, is in charge of arrangements.

Like Paul and Jack, we all met in Germany when we reported for duty in Babenhausen, Germany. Gerhardt was a down-to-earth guy who was serious about his army duties and fun to be with off-duty. We all missed him when we left the service.

Gerhardt and I met in Germany while in the Army. We continued friendship throughout the years meeting about every 5 years with other military friends. A friendly, caring individual was Gerhardt's disposition and always family oriented.

Gerhardt was a long time friend. We met while serving together in the army in Germany in early 1963. Gerhardt was one of a kind.A very friendly and caring person. He was very proud of his family
