HOMER TROUT

Died: Jul 4, 2025

Homer Trout, age 95, of Lenoir City, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Homer was a true patriot who had a deep love for military vehicles and was a member of the Smoky Mountain Military Vehicle Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Trout; parents, Joseph and Leona Trout; and brother, Jerry Trout.

Homer is survived by his children, Nancy Dotson and Homer Lee Trout Jr. (wife, Sandra); grandchildren, Homer Lee Trout III, Sydni Trout, Alisha Dotson, and Ashtin Dotson; great-grandchild, Harlee Dotson; and brothers, Joe Trout and Marshall Trout.

The visitation was held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 5-7PM at Loudon Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Lyons View Pike.

Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
