MOUNT CARMEL - Eleanor Mary Dickson, 80, of Mount Carmel, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
She was born Aug. 15, 1944, a daughter of the late William F. Sr. and Flavia Flora (Resigno) Deasy.
She graduated from Hallahan Catholic High School, in Philadelphia.
Prior to retiring, Eleanor was an EEG technician at Northeastern Hospital, in Philadelphia, for 22 years.
Eleanor liked to play cards with everyone. She was a bowler in a league for 15 years. She enjoyed having summer BBQ's and having friends and family around. Eleanor loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. As a pastime, she would crochet blankets for her loved ones.
Above all things she enjoyed, there was nothing she cherished more than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Michele Bernsteel and her husband, Michael, Franny Nash, Amber Dickson, Joseph Deasy and William Nash Jr. and his wife, Sara Carlin; grandchildren, John Knowles and his wife, Sarah, Michael Knowles, Bryan Knowles and his wife, Chelsea, David Bernsteel and his wife, Brooke, Brett Stabb, Cherryanne Stanton, William Nash lll, Aiden Nash, Luke Nash and Nicole Harris; and great-grandchildren, Michael Knowles lll, Harmony Knowles, Olivia Shell, Ben Shell, Jackson Knowles, Watson Knowles, Jacob Miller, Noah Miller, Josie Miller, Katie Griffiths, Annabella Stabb and Gabriella Stabb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
