Oak Island, North Carolina - Charles Thomas Martin, 85, of Oak Island, passed away on May 27, 2025. Born on March 8, 1940, he was the son of the late Lehman Andrew Martin and Lessie Mae Massengill Martin. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Martin; two children, Matt Martin (wife Mary) and Melissa Sherrod (husband Bill); and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Lou Jackson. A celebration of his life will be held at noon on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Ocean View United Methodist Church on Oak Island. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC or Ocean View United Methodist Church, Oak Island, NC. Online condolences may be made at www.peacocknewnamwhite.com.
