Charles Edward Miller, of Washington Township, Ohio, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Washington Township, Ohio. Burial services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2025, at Greenwood Union Cemetery, 215 North St., Rye, NY, 10580, with Pastor Deborah Rundlett, of the Ridgebury Congregational Church, officiating. Military Funeral Honors will be rendered at the service. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Ridgebury Congregational Church, 605 Ridgebury Rd., Ridgefield, CT, 06877, officiated by Pastor Deborah Rundlett. www.meetinghouse.life . Charles Edward Miller was born in Greenwich, CT, to Charles Emil Miller and Ruth Valborg Dahlman, on April 27, 1933. He graduated from Greenwich High School, Greenwich, CT, in 1951. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy in January, 1952, serving 4 years active duty as an Electrician's Mate Class "A", and received an Honorable discharge in 1956. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Navy Occupation Medal (Europe) and National Defense Service Medal. He married Jill Bradley in 1961. He worked more than 30 years as a Heat and Frost Insulators Union pipe insulator, retiring in 1993. He was an avid poker player, gathering every other Thursday to play with his poker buddies, for more than 40 years. He loved playing golf, reading, traveling, and enjoying good food. Charles Edward Miller is preceded in death by Charles Emil Miller, Ruth Valborg Dahlman, Lillian Miller and Jill Bradley. Charles Edward Miller is survived by his children Mark Miller, Marghan Curry, Kristi Seiter, Charles Miller; and his grandchildren Thea Tragni, Eric Miller, Theodore Seiter, Margaret Kent, Sarah Miller, Matthew Seiter, Ellie Miller, Rory Miller, and Abigail Miller.
