I met Liz when she and her husband Eric joined the Institute for American Indian Studies where I worked as its research director/archaeologist. Liz was very interested in local archaeology and Indigenous history. We spent many happy times excavating sites, visiting museums, and attending IAIS museum events. Liz was a lovely, kind person, always generous with her time. I shall miss her very much.

I met my dear friend Elizabeth (Liz) in 5th grade. We had our classrooms next door to each other in the roundhouse building at JFK Elementary School in Brewster, NY.
We were also in the same Girl Scout Troop for awhile.
I remember it was then when she told me her little sister Leslie was born. They were 10 years apart.
We officially became best friends in 8th grade when we shared the same home room and classes.
We were friends all through High School, College and beyond.
We both were each other´s "ladies of honor" at each other´s weddings...so many good memories of Liz.
My condolences again to Eric.
My deepest condolences to Donald, Janet, Robert, Jennifer, Leslie and Liz´s nephews, Robert and Donald.
I will miss my dear friend, but have amazing memories that will keep her alive inside my heart forever. Goodbye my beautiful friend. May you be at peace.

Eric, I am so sorry for your loss! I enjoyed seeing and talking to Liz the numerous times she had to come to our unit to do a blood draw. She was never impatient but always very pleasant to patients and staff alike.
