Gordon H. Frey 59 passed away May 17, 2025, at OSF St. Paul Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10am. Friday, May 23, 2025, in Restland Memorial Gardens with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Wasmer Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family.
Gordon Howard Frey was born on April 6, 1966, to Clayton and Mary Margaret (Phalen) Frey, and he brought joy and love into the lives of all who knew him. Gordon was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Gordon is survived by his brothers Doug (Karole) and Kent, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Julie and brother-in-law Marty Bonnell, and his youngest brother Greg. Gordon was a kind and gentle soul, who had a quiet manner but a mischievous smirk that made you smile. His passion for working on Case IH equipment at Stollers in Ottawa brought him immense joy, and he felt happiest when he was doing what he loved. Gordon also enjoyed spending time with his work buddies, sharing a few beers and stories on Friday nights after work. Gordon was loved by all who knew him, and his kindness, gentleness, and caring nature touched the hearts of everyone he met. He was truly a good human being, and his presence will be deeply missed. As we say goodbye to Gordon, let us remember the love and light that he brought into our lives, and the impact he had on all of us. May his memory live on in our hearts forever.
