Jeffery Hebel, 67, of Garden City, MO, formerly of Peru, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Crown Care Rehab and Healthcare Center in Harrisonville, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru with Deacon Dan O'Connor officiating. Private burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hebel was born on September 16, 1957 in Peru to Roger and Donna (Hall) Hebel. He was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. He married Karen Roulston on April 29, 1978 at St. Joseph's Church in Peru.
Mr. Hebel was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Peru. He worked as a truck driver for Double D Express for 33 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. His greatest joy was his family.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; three children, George (Lisa) Hebel of Garden City, MO, Roger (Allison) Hebel of Creighton, MO, and Samantha Hebel of Garden City, MO; nine grandchildren; his mother, Donna Hebel of Peru; his brother, Steve Hebel of LaSalle; his sister, Garrlea Kilanowski of Peru; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
