Bragemon Smothers Obituary

Bragemon Horace Smothers was born on January 13, 1962 to the late Richard H. and Willie Bell Lorraine Smothers in New Orleans, LA. He entered eternal rest on Monday, September 2, 2024. Mr. Smothers attended Booker T. Washington High School and was employed as a roofer. In addition, he contributed to the family business, R&B Grocery Store on Orleans Avenue. He was also a member of the Roofers Union Local # 141. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Terecita Randall; sons, Bragemon H. Jr. and Randy Smothers and Richard H. Randall; stepchildren, Robert and Terrell Randall, Tanya (Dwight) Alexander. Also survived by three grandchildren, seven siblings, one sister and one brother in law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr.Bragemon Horace Smothers will be held at New Home Ministries, 1616 Robert C. Blakes Sr. Drive, New Orleans, LA 70130,on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10 am. Interment Mount Bethel Cemetery, 5651 Martin Luther Parkway, St. Gabriel, LA 70721. Visitation 9 am in the church.
