Maureen "Renee" Adamski

Maureen "Renee" Adamski, age 69. Late of St. John, Indiana, formerly of Schererville and the East Side. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on July 13, 2025.

Beloved wife of Paul M. Adamski for 48 years. Loving mother of Beth Adamski and Stacy (Ernie) Lukesch. Cherished grandma of Chase, Duke, Mia, Briella. Dearest sister of James (Carole) O'Neill, Patty (Bill) O'Hara, and Joan (Bruce) Pufahl. Dear sister-in-law of Mark (Janet) Adamski, Frank (Pat) Adamski, Thomas Adamski, and James (Renee) Adamski. Renee is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Nancy Wood; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Harriet O'Neill; and sister, Judy Parrish.

Renee never met a stranger. Her warm and friendly nature made everyone feel like family. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, and always enjoyed a good tune to get up and dance to.

A Celebration of Renee's Life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John. For more information 219-365-3474 or www.elmwoodchapel.com.
