Although we didn´t get to share too much in Phyllis´ life, she touched us several times and we cared very much for her. Verna had her in class at LCHS snd I interacted with her in the hallways. She didn´t know me from Adam but we everntually exchanged smiles on a regular basis. Fast forward fifty years and I had a beautiful visit in her home with Larry (one of the most admired guys in my life) and again at our fiftieth class reunion where we were sure to invite two of the most impactful teachers/coaches in our high school years. We´ll always remember Phyllis with a smile and warmth in our hearts for her.

Oh my dear Larry, Paul and I did not know until this morning when 73 grad Holly Seliger told us about Phyllis´ passing. We are so sorry ! we are double sorry we didn´t know and we couldn´t come down and pay our respects. We´ve all lost the precious friend in Russ Tomjanovich and he would´ve been the one who told us. He was always sure to keep us up on all such sad news. I´m so sorry but I´m glad we found out today from HOLLY ! Phyllis was a vibrant lady. I don´t need to tell you that .....we are so very sorry at her loss.
A light has gone off here on earth, but a new one has only begun to shine brightly in Heaven.....

I knew Phyllis from the Heritage Quilt Guild. She was always cheerful and willing to help and participate in our many activities. Our loss is eternity's gain. God's blessings to the remaining family members!
