November 22, 1951 - December 26, 2024
Anita Marcia Turner Miller age 73, loving mother and grandmother went on to her heavenly home on December 26th 2024.
Survived by Dawn and Michael (Jennifer) , her loving children; brothers & sister Sharon (John), Steve (Vickie) and Bruce (Mylene); her grandchildren Rachel (Shawn), David Jr., Aaron, Grayson and Eliana; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marcy was predeceased by her mother & father Frances Elizabeth Eads Turner and Horace Bernard Turner; her brother in law John Spencer; and nephew Justin Spencer.
Marcy retired after serving 31 years at the Department of Motor Vehicles. After retirement, she spent her years taking care of family and watching her grandchildren grow.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on January 11th 2025 at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church at 402 Hershberger Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24012.
In lieu of flowers, Marcy would prefer that a donation be made in her name to the American Kidney Fund or a Charitable Organization of Your Choice.

We did not know Anita, but her son Mike and his family. By knowing them we can only imagine the type of person Anita must have been. Mike and his family values have always shone brightly as we´ve known them over the past few years. This can be attributed to Anita´s life poured into her family and Gods light shining throughout the generations that stem from her.
