Patricia Langhorst Obituary
Patricia Langhorst, 78, formerly of Howells, died Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo. Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 18, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Howells, with Rev. Walter Jong-A-Kiem as celebrant. Burial will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery with lunch following at the Howells American Legion Hall. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Memorials can be made to the Howells Community Fund in the name of Patricia Langhorst. Arrangements by Stokely Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two sons, Eric Langhorst and his wife, Jayme (Bratschi) of Liberty, Mo., Kurt Langhorst and his wife, Colleen (Tarsney) of Liberty, Mo.; four grandchildren, Addison Langhorst and Scarlet Langhorst (Eric and Jayme), Henry Langhorst and Nate Langhorst (Kurt and Colleen), all of Liberty, Mo.; and sister, Margaret (John) Cioni of Springfield, Mo.

I met Pat at the United Airline training center in Chicago in 1969. We ended up being roommates along with Linda, Jerry and Jo. We became friends and we had so much fun.....Pat and I stayed in touch all these years. While I was still flying I visited Pat and Larry and we had a blast. She was a true friend and she loved her family. I knew she was having serious medical issues....I know she is now an angel and she is with Larry and her Mom and Dad. Good night sweet princess, I will miss you.

Pat was a wonderful friend of mine at Our Lady of
Mercy Home. We had so much fun sharing stories about our lives and our families. My thoughts and prayers are with her family whom she loved so very much.
