Constance Kunde Obituary

Constance "Connie" J. Kunde, age 67, of Oshkosh, passed away at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah on August 25, 2025. Born on October 22, 1957, to Frank and Pauline (Murray) Monroe, Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose kindness and spirit touched all who knew her.

In 1985, Connie married Roger Kunde, and together they embraced the joys and challenges of raising two sons, Bryan and Aaron. Her journey began in Oshkosh, where she graduated from Oshkosh West High School and embarked on a career that showcased her dedication and work ethic. From her early days as a machine operator at Oshkosh B'gosh to nurturing young minds at Davis Day Care and the YMCA childcare center, and eventually honing her craft at 4-Imprint as an embroiderer, Connie exemplified resilience and passion in every role she took on.

Family was at the heart of Connie's life. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Ruby and Owen, and delighted in creating memories during family gatherings, especially at their beloved retreat in Phillips. Her talent for crafting and love for shopping were not just hobbies-they were expressions of her creativity and zest for life.

Connie is remembered for her radiant smile, which lit up every room she entered, and for her generous nature. She was always ready to lend a hand or offer support to those in need. Her legacy will endure in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.

Connie is survived by her husband, Roger Kunde; her sons, Bryan (Nica) Kunde and Aaron (Amy) Kunde; her grandchildren, Owen, Ruby and Leo: as well as her sister, Pamela (Darel) Wesenberg; brothers, Steve (Cindy) Monroe, Gary (Chris) Monroe, and Randy (Anna) Monroe; and sister-in-law, Christie (Chuck) Chandler. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline Monroe.

A memorial service honoring Connie's life will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, located at 100 Lake Pointe Dr., on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Prior to the service, family and friends will have the opportunity to gather for visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
