George David Meshoto, 80, passed away on March 17, 2025 in Hobbs, NM. He was born on September 14, 1944, in Saint Louis, Missouri to Pete and Marguerite (Hayes) Meshoto.
Services for Mr. Meshoto will be announced at a later date on Terpening & Son Mortuary's website.
George's journey in life was marked by an unwavering commitment to service and a passion for his craft as an architect. After honorably serving in the United States Army, where he demonstrated his acute skill in drawing maps, he transitioned into a successful career at Navajo Refining. His innovative designs and keen eye for detail contributed to many projects.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, George had a myriad of hobbies that brought him joy. He was an avid coin collector, spent hours solving puzzles and crossword puzzles, and delighted in playing the accordion. George's inquisitive spirit and love for life were infectious, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
George is preceded by his parents, Pete and Marguerite Meshoto, and his grandmother.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Valorie Meshoto; sons, Matthew Meshoto; Sammy Meshoto (Melanie); nine grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
