Andrew Alexandre Obituary

Andrew "Andy" Gary Alexandre, age 60, of San Mateo passed peacefully in his sleep on June 6, 2025, at Haven – Roberts Hospice in Palatka, Florida, following a brief illness.
Andy was born on April 27,1965, in Miami, Florida. This is where he spent nearly half of his life before moving north, and settling close to family in Putnam County, Florida, in 1994.
Andy was a beloved member of the community and The Arc of Putnam County. For many years he attended workshops and programs within The Arc. Andy had a few favorite things in life. He loved the color blue, boat motors, anything Spiderman, his special stuffed toys (Honey Bear), and the taste of fried fish. His most enjoyable pastimes included fishing, boating, playing catch with family, bowling, and bocce. Starting in the 1970s Andy began competing with the Special Olympics in bowling and bocce. His love of these sports continued through his 60th birthday where he had his final party bowling with family and friends.
He attended services at The Bridge Church (formally Habiet) of San Mateo, and enjoyed waving the flags.
Andy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Frances Harrington and paternal grandmother, Helen Hardy.
Andy is survived by his mother, Linda Harrington Alexandre; his father, Gary (Laura) Alexandre; brothers, Brian (Susan) Alexandre, Christopher (Shannahon) Alexandre, Donald Alexandre; niece, Rachel Alexandre; and nephew, Jonathan Alexandre.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Golden Triangle Cremations assisted the family.
