Dora Gauldin Sipe, 93, was born on September 6, 1932, in Rockingham County, and passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Penn Nursing Center in Reidsville, NC.
Friends and family are invited to gather at Lebanon Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, for a visitation on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service in the church cemetery officiated by Pastor Dan Alderman.
Dora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Sipe, and her parents, Henry and Anna Gauldin. She also mourned the loss of her siblings; Bonnie Pruitt, Vera Pruitt, Luke Gauldin, Ed Gauldin, James Gauldin, and Sam Gauldin. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew them.
Dora's legacy lives on through her surviving family members, including her sons, Donald Sipe and his wife Machelle, as well as Gary Sipe and his wife Kathy. She found immense joy in her grandchildren, Megan Hancock and her husband Dustin, Dean Overby, Dayton Joyce, Mason Joyce, and Brandon Heath. Dora was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Brantley Sipe, Chance Overby, and Wyatt Hancock.
Throughout her life, Dora had a passion for simple pleasures. She enjoyed going out to eat and looked forward to camping trips with her children during their younger years. Above all, her love for her grandchildren shone brightly in everything she did, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dora's memory to the American Cancer Society.
