Dick Wagner, 79 of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, died on December 1, 2024, after a long battle with dementia.
Born December 27, 1944, in San Francisco California. He lived in Sonoma County, California. He worked as a Land Surveyor for 41 years and was a volunteer firefighter and Captain for Twin Hills Fire and Gold Ridge fire departments for 25 years.
After retiring he and his wife Louise moved to the Big Island of Hawaii to be near Rich (son) and family. He joined the Big Island Woodturners and made several ukuleles.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Louise Wagner, Kailua Kona, Hawaii, daughter-in-law, Denise Wagner, Carson City, Nevada, grandson Matthew Wagner, Reno, Nevada and granddaughter, Maura Wagner, Portland, Oregon, great granddaughter, Reagan Wagner, Andover, Connecticut and great grandson, Judah Wagner of Andover Connecticut. His nephews Andrew Booher, Sonoma, California, Alan Booher, Georgia. He also has nieces in Georgia and California.
He is predeceased by his son Rich Wagner, Holualoa Hawaii 2020.

A memorial service will be held on February 27, 2025, 3 p.m. at Living Hope Church, Holualoa, Hawaii.
