Theresa Gonzales Obituary
October 16, 1949 - June 27, 2025
Theresa "Terri" Gonzales, who departed this life on June 27th, 2025, at the age of 75, found eternal peace alongside her husband of 33 years, Tony Gonzales.
Terri was born on October 16th, 1949, in Porterville, CA. where she graduated from High School. She was the youngest of 5 siblings.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Sweetser and Melissa Gonzales, her two grandchildren, Calvin Gonzales and Jasmine Gonzales, her great grandson Elijah Gonzales-Gomez, and her beloved dog Sasha Marie.
When Tony and Terri moved to Sonoma County in 1980, their new adventure together began and they shared many years of happiness prior to his passing.
Terri enjoyed many years at Hewlett-Packard where her gregarious personality shined through, and she made many lifetime friends there. She was passionate about her family and friends, and had a fabulous flair for fashion, music, and movies, particularly the old classics like Gone with The Wind.
She enjoyed her time warming hearts at the senior center and socializing with her swimming groups.
She and her late husband, Ray Utterback from Occidental, enjoyed traveling together, local restaurants, and family.
Her heart was full of love, she always had an embracing hug to give, a bright smile, and a laugh that would fill a room.
Terri's spirit will be felt by all of those who loved her.
A celebration of life will be held on Sat. July 26th, 2025, at 12:00 pm at The Sebastopol Senior Center, 167 N. High St. Sebastopol, CA. 95472

Our family was so blessed to have Terri and Tony as our next door neighbors when our kids were young. I am so glad that Terri and I were able to keep in touch and really wish I had done more. I will always remember the wonderful hug and too short of a visit we had in June. So thankful God put her in our lives! Praying for your family.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences. May you find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I'll always remember her kindness and how loving she was. Terri, was so special to me. I remember when she first met me at thirteen years old and gave me a nickname A-Z.
Terri, taught me so much in life and was like Mother to me. I will miss her so much .
Terri, filled the void that was empty and blessed me with two beautiful sisters, Michelle & Melissa . I will always cherish this blessing forever . I'm grateful for the time I spent with Terri, Birthday's, special occasions.
I will always cherish our family gatherings and our fun birthday parties that she puts together. I will miss her long hugs, her laugh and beautiful smile .

Dear Mom, I just wanted to tell you, I love you very much.... that you ALWAYS stayed in my heart & always will.... I also want to thank you for raising me to be a strong independent woman.... all the lessons in life are noted and doing my best to apply.... your love for us... your family was unconditional and will always be appreciated.... Im so blessed to have our recent memories of celebrating Mothers Day with you 2x ... you definitely deserved both and more, im so glad you enjoyed the Chinese food and watching Wheel of Fortune together.... and spending the day with you before you went to be with our Heavenly Father and my dad... give him a big hug for me... we are truly blessed to have you as our Guardian Angel Now... from above!!! Terri was a dear friend of mine from Ives Pool gentle water aerobics class. She was a bright light in my life and healing journey, always making me laugh and encouraging me to see the love around me. We took a few class train trips, went to the movies and met for many lunch´s. Terri will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in all of the hearts that knew and adored her.

I met Terri at Hewlett-Packard when I was 17 and would drive up to bother my mom. Terri was so fun-she was friendly and flashy and beautiful. She was a family friend for many years of my mom (Cathy) and my grandma and by extension-me.
My God Bless and Keep her and her loving family.
